Membership  Information                                                    

Membership in NAPM-Florida, an affiliate of ISM, is open to any person interested in the supply management field provided that such person is not *primarily engaged in sales activity; or does not solicit business on behalf of such person or his or her employer during meetings of any NAPM-Florida activity, including without limitation, NAPM-Florida board meetings, committees, and any groups and forums.

*For the purposes of this section, "primarily" shall mean a majority of a person's time. However, no person shall be ineligible by reason of incidentally disposing of scrap, surplus stock, or equipment of the concern by which he or she is employed. The eligibility of an editor, secretary or business manager employed by an Affiliated Association shall not be affected by reason of sales activity directly related to any magazine, bulletin or other publication, or exhibit, product, show or similar activity sponsored by such association.

In principle and in practice, the affiliate and ISM values and does seek a diverse membership, volunteer leadership, and staff. There are no barriers to full participation in the affiliate or ISM on the basis of ethnic background, gender, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin or disability.

NAPM-Florida, along with ISM, values the efforts, knowledge and commitment of all volunteers and staff, and structures the volunteer system to maintain continuity by encouraging participation in integrated activities to enhance value-added activities and optimize productivity.

Regular Membership

Regular membership in NAPM-FL entitles you to attend all dinner meetings and functions, cost of all dinners is included. Membership also provides you with  membership in ISM and full access to the ISM website loaded with hundreds of educational opportunities, resources, and other information to assist the supply management professional in reaching their career goal.                                                                                                   

Why is membership in our organization so great?                                       

Our goal at NAPM-Florida is to provide assistance to the buyer/supply manager in reaching their potential and personal goal in the field. Bi-monthly dinner meetings run from September through May and provide speakers to educate and inform. Additional educational opportunities include the ISM Satellite Seminars, plant tours, and a library of professional books that can be checked out and read. We are a friendly group of knowledgeable professionals who welcome all who wish to join us.

Fees:

$235 first year - new members  (includes $20 ISM administration fee and meals)

$225 year - renewing members (includes meals) 

Associate Membership

Associate membership is available. You must have a sponsor that is a regular paying member. This type of membership gives you limited access to the ISM website. Associate members must pay for attendance to educational opportunities and fees vary. Dinner meeting attendance is available but associate member must notify secretary of the intent to attend and you are responsible for the purchase of your own meal.

Fee: $50 per year (fee does not include meals for meetings but does include satellite seminars)


Additional Information

Check us out!  Any supply professional may join us for a dinner meeting or other event by contacting a board member. Cost for attendance/dinner will be determined at that time. Please see the About Us tab for board member names and contact information.
